III] iNSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ( See VIJ ExplodedVi.ewand parts List. ) 1) Place the chair crate just behind the plannedlocation for the chair. Carefully open the crate and removethe packing materiais from around the chair and removeaccessaryparts packedin the small carton box. 2)
Checkeachquantity of the parts for installation and accessories below. 1. Foot Switch Assembly 1 set 2. HeadrestAssembly 1 set 3. BaseRubberSash 1 pce. 4. BackrestPin 2 pcs. 5. 115x 10 Socket HeadCap Bolt . 2 pcs. 6. GasCylinder Pin . 1 pce. 7. 10mm SnapPin 2 pcs. B. HeadrestHeight AdjustmentFrmb . 1 pce.

Remove chair backrest form the chair and attach a base rubber sash to chair base. Place the chair at the proper pcition.

Loosenand removetno ning scres (ItB x 20) located underneath chair seat plate and removethe seat cushion. Remove the REDbolt taegedon the chair seat plate.

Attach a backrest assemblvto side bodies (left & risht) with backrest pins provided and secure the backrest pins wit[ ]15x 10 socket headcap bolts provided.
6)
Attach bottom end of gas cylinder located under the seat plate with gas cylinder pin and 10mm snap pins provided.
7)
Reattach the seat cushion to the chair seat plate with trro wing screws. Install headrestassembly to the backrest and fix it with a headrest heiehtadj ustrnent knob.

Chair Seat Rotation The chair seat can be rotated a full 360" and be locked in a desired position by operating a rotation lock lever located on the siile body right. To rotate the chair seat, release a lock device by pushing down the rotation lock lever ( turning the lock lever counter-clockrise ). To lock the chair seat, pull the lock lever up ( turn it clockwise).
3) Chair Seat Elevation Theseat elevation is operated by the electrical hydraulic lift 200 mnstroke and controlled by a low voltage fot switch. To raise the chair seat, depressright portion of the foot switch r uJ To lower the chair seat, depress left portion of the foot switch r D:

4> Chair Backrest Angle " The chair backrest can be adjusted within the rangBof 0- 82 above horizontal by operating a reclining lever located on the side bodyrieht. To recline the backrest, push donn the reclining lever. ( HOLD t{lTHA HANDto prevent the backrest from suddenreclining while THEBACKREST pushingthe reclining lever down.) nith a hand nhile pushing To return the backrest upright, push up the kkrest the reclining lever down. 5)
HeadrestHeieht Adjustment By loosening a headrest heieht adjustmentknob in the back of the chair backrest, the headrest will be unlocked to slide up or downAfter adjusting the height, tighten the headrestbight adjustmentknob firmly.
6) HeadrestArticulation Adjustment To adjust the angle of the headrest, loosen a headrest angle adjustmentknob in the headrest arm, then move a headrest cushion Up-Down and/or Fornard-Backnard as required. After positioning the headrest, tighten the headrestknob firmly.

TROUBLE SHOOTINGS Before performingthe folloning services, confirm the items belon ; 1. If the chair is plugged into an appropriate electric powersouce. 2. If the mainswitch is turned on and the pilot lamp is lit. 3. If the fuses are not burned-out. Anddo not attempt electrical continuity checks or any wiring tests whenthe chair is pluggedinto a poner souce.
Problem
; Chair seat does not go up.
Symptom 1-1 ; A motor pumpdoesnot soundlike running, but the motor humis audible. Correction 1-1 ; The motor capacitor will be defective : so changethe motor capacitor. Symptom 7-2 Correction 1-2
An excessive noise from the motor pump. There is excessiveplay in the gear pumpor the gear itself Replacethe motor pumpassembly.

Symptom 1-3 ; The relay R-l does not operate ( no click soundform the relay ) when the foot switch is turned on. Correction 1-3 ; Check the secondly voltage of the transformer if AC 12 V comeso u t . Replace the transformer if necessary. Correction1-4; Checka contact of the foot switch,. llake a continuity checkbetween black and nhite wire from the foot switch while depressing the switch. Replacea micro switch in the foot sr,ritchor repair the r+iring. Correction 1-5 ; Remove the relay R-l f,roma p.c.board and check the relay. Replacethe relay if necessary.
Problem
; Chair seat does not go up smoothly.
Symptom 2-l ; An excessive noise from the motor pump. Correction2-1 ; Checkthe motor punp (refer to Correction 1-2) or fill
somehydraulic oil in the case whenit is causedby shortageof the oil.
Symptom 2-2 ; The chair movement is rough or jerky. Correction2-2 ; It appears that air bubbleremains in the hydraulic line. Raise the chair upto the upper limit position and makeover-florrrincby running the motor pump continuously for 10 seconds to return air bubble or a ir trap to the oil reservoir. Lower the chair seat and makeover-flowing repeatedly if necessary. Symptom 2-3 ; Guide roller/s located on the guide casting does not rotate smoothly. Correction 2-3 ; By turning the eccentric roller shaft,/s, adjust .the guide roller/s positioning to ensurethat the chair seat travels vertically.

Symptom 3-1 ; The downsolenoid does not operate. Correction3-1 ; Replacethe solenoid coil. 3-2 ; The relay R-2 does not operate ( no click sound form the relay ) when the foot switch is turned on. Correction 3-2 ; Checkthe secondly voltage of the transformer if AC 12 V comesout. Replacethe transformer if necessary. Sympton .
