KARL STORZ fiberscopes may only be used by persons with an appropriate medical qualification and who are acquainted with the endoscopic technique. Place the suction valve insert  on the valve nozzle  and turn until the projections on the side of the insert lie over the nozzle recesses.

Place the disposable lip valve onto the instrument channel  and tighten gently by turning it in a clockwise direction (plastic part).

Instrumentenkupplung öffnen: den äußeren Ring gegen die Federkraft drehen, das DIN-Okular des Fiberskopes einsetzen und den äußeren Ring loslassen. Die Instrumentenkupplung schließt mittels der Federkraft selbsttätig. VORSICHT: Ein zusätzliches Festdrehen des äußeren Rings zur weiteren Fixierung des Okulars ist nicht erforderlich. Dies kann u.U. zu einer Beschädigung der Instrumentenkupplung führen!

Opening the instrument coupling: turn the outer ring against the spring force, insert the fiberscope DIN eyepiece and let go of the outer ring. The instrument coupling closes automatically as a result of the spring force. CAUTION: No further tightening of the QWVGTTKPIVQRQUKVKQPVJGG[GRKGEGKU TGSWKTGF6JKUOC[COQPIQVJGTVJKPIU cause damage to the instrument coupler!

Abrir el acoplamiento para instrumentos: Para ello gire el anillo exterior en sentido contrario a la fuerza del muelle, monte el ocular DIN del fibroscopio y suelte el anillo exterior. El acoplamiento para instrumentos se cierra automáticamente a causa de la fuerza del muelle. Submerge the instrument in a cleaning solution approved by KARL STORZ and clean it using a cleaning agent (brush or cleaning gun, Art. no. 27660). Avoid splashing with the cleaning agent.
