The TELE PACK X LED is a revolutionary combi unit and combines the functions of illumination, image orientation, image processing and a comprehensive treatment documentation program in one compact system. The TELE PACK X LED is compatible with all TELECAM 1-chip camera heads and KARL STORZ CCD-based videoscopes. The unit offers numerous state-of-the-art functions. These include: • documentation of the treatment on USB stick or SD card • improved contrast and image sharpness thanks to image optimization and fiberoptic filter possibilities for fiberscopes • Digital video output for connecting an external monitor • Still image function for ‘freezing’ the video image on the screen • Digital Zoom • 5 individually programmable presets for different physicians or interventions • Optional stroboscopy function

Uso previsto

The TELE PACK X is a combination unit comprising of a light source for illumination, Camera Control Unit (CCU) for image processing and documentation as well as a monitor for visualization. It is intended for endoscopic diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as for stroboscopy. The TELE PACK X LED may only be used with accessories which are stated as being suitable by KARL STORZ. Use of the product for purposes other than those described above is not allowed for safety reasons. Unauthorized conversions or modifications to the TELE PACK X LED are prohibited for safety reasons.

Qualifikation des Anwenders

Intended use

Der TELE PACK X ist ein Kombinationsgerät bestehend aus einer Lichtquelle zur Ausleuchtung, Kamerakontrolleinheit zur Bildverarbeitung und Dokumentation sowie einem Monitor zur Visualisierung. Er ist geeignet für die endoskopische Diagnostik, für chirurgische Eingriffe sowie für die Stroboskopie. Der TELE PACK X LED darf nur mit Zubehör verwendet werden, die KARL STORZ für das Gerät als geeignet bezeichnet. Die Verwendung des Produktes anders als oben bestimmt ist aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht zulässig. Eigenmächtige Umbauten oder Veränderungen des TELE PACK X LED sind aus Sicherheitsgründen untersagt.

User qualification

The TELE PACK X LED may only be used by physicians and medical assistants who have a corresponding specialized qualification and who have been instructed in the use of the unit.

The SD card is recognized automatically. A message appears on the screen. The name of the storage media and the remaining video recording capacity appear in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

If the test for proper operation is successful, the footswitch is ready for use. NOTE: Connecting the stroboscopy footswitch 40160033 to the USB port activates the stroboscopy function.

Verbinden Sie mit dem Verbindungskabel 20221070 die Line-Out Schnittstelle des PULSAR II mit der Line-In des TELE PACK X LED y. Der Ton des PULSAR II Mikrofones kann anschließend vom TELE PACK X LED aufgenommen werden. Aktivieren Sie hierzu die Funktion unter „Einstellungen - Audio - Ton in Video“.

1. Using the 20221080 connection cable, connect the ACC1 output of the PULSAR II to the ACC interface t. The PULSAR II is recognized automatically after switching on. 2. Using the 20221070 connection cable, connect the line-out interface of the PULSAR II to the line-in of the TELE PACK X LED y. The PULSAR II microphone audio can then be recorded by the TELE PACK X LED. To this end, activate the function under “Settings - Audio Audio in video”.

Zum Anschließen eines externen Monitors, steht auf der Rückseite ein DVI-D-Videoausgang zur Verfügung. 1. Verbinden Sie den Monitor mit dem DVI-DVideoausgang.

There is a DVI-D video output available on the rear of the device for connecting up an external monitor.

Wird der Fußschalter bei anliegendem Mikrofonsignal betätigt wird der StroboskopieModus automatisch gestartet und die stroboskopiespezifischen Parameter eingeblendet (siehe Abbildung). Beim Loslassen des Fußschalters wird der Stroboskopie-Modus beendet und zum Dauerlicht-Modus zurückgekehrt.

When the footswitch is operated in the presence of a microphone signal, stroboscopy mode is automatically started and the stroboscopy specific parameters are displayed (see image). Releasing the stroboscopy footswitch ends the stroboscopy mode and reactivates the continuous light mode.

Im oberen Bereich des Pedalweges ist die Standbildfunktion aktiv, d. h. es erscheint ein stehendes Bild der schwingenden Stimmbänder. Die jeweilige Phase bzw. Position der Stimmbänder lässt sich mit dem Fußschalter im Bereich von 0 bis 360 Grad einstellen.

The still image function is active in the upper area of the pedal movement range which means that the vibration of the vocal cords appears as a static image. The respective phase or the position of the vocal cords can be adjusted using the footswitch within a range from 0 to 360 degrees.

En la parte superior del recorrido del pedal está activa la función de imagen fija, es decir, aparece una imagen estática de las cuerdas vocales en vibración. Cada fase o posición de las cuerdas vocales puede ajustarse con el interruptor de pedal en un rango entre 0 y 360 grados.

Operating instructions

If the footswitch is pressed further down beyond the pressure point, slow motion function is activated. The vocal cords appear in the preset slow motion frequency. The frequency can be set under Settings: Stroboscopy – slow motion from 0.2 to 2.5 Hz. The video recording can be started or stopped by pressing the stroboscopy footswitch twice in quick succession.
