This instruction manual is intended to serve as an aid in the proper setup, installation, and operation of the ACC control®. All essential details of the equipment and all actions required on your part are clearly presented and explained. We thus ask that you read this manual carefully before proceeding to work with the equipment. Das ACC control® 20 0906 32 dient als Schnittstelle zwischen dem KARL STORZ-SCB® System und diversen OP-Einrichtungen/Geräten. Das Schnittstellengerät ACC control® 20 0906 32 besitzt 16 potentialfreie programmierbare Umschaltkontakte zur Ansteuerung von externen Systemen wie Raumlicht, Klimaanlage etc. Es enthält zudem eine RS 232 Schnittstelle für die Kontrolle der KARL STORZ Videokreuzschiene W20014 (12x8) sowie einen Direktanschluss an eine analoge Telefonanlage. KARL STORZ OR1™ öffnet den Zugang zum Informationszeitalter direkt aus dem OP mit dem einfachsten Schlüssel, den es gibt: durch Antippen mit der Fingerspitze auf dem TouchScreen-Monitor oder durch Sprachsteuerung.

The ACC control® 20 0906 32 functions as an interface between the KARL STORZ-SCB® system and various OR equipment / apparatus. The ACC control® interface device 20 0906 32 is equipped with 16 floating, programmable changeover contacts for actuating external systems, such as room lights, air conditioning etc. In addition, it contains an RS 232 interface for controlling the KARL STORZ video crossbar W20014 (12x8) and a direct connection to an analog telephone system. KARL STORZ OR1™ opens the door to the information age, directly from the OR, using the simplest key of all: A simple touch with your finger tip on the touch screen or voice control is all it takes!

El ACC control® 20 0906 32 sirve como interfaz entre el sistema KARL STORZ-SCB® y diversos equipamientos/aparatos de quirófano. El aparato de interfaz ACC control® 20 0906 32 posee 16 contactos de conmutación programables libres de potencial para el mando de sistemas externos, tales como iluminación de la sala, aire acondicionado, etc. Contiene además una interfaz RS 232 para el control del Crossbar vídeo W20014 (12x8) de KARL STORZ, así como una conexión directa a una instalación analógica de teléfono. KARL STORZ OR1™ abre el acceso a la era informática directamente desde el quirófano con la llave más sencilla que existe: rozando con la punta de los dedos la pantalla táctil o por reconocimiento de voz.

Voraussetzung: Das ACC control® muss mit den anzusteuernden Geräten verbunden sein. Es muss zudem über ein SCB-Kabel mit dem SCB-Steuerrechner verbunden sein. Über die R-UI Bedienoberfläche ACC control® können die an das ACC control® angeschlossenen Endgeräte, wie Telefon, Zubehör, Audio, und Videoschaltung bedient werden (siehe Gebrauchsanweisung KARL STORZ SCB-System). Optional können in das ACC control® bis zu 5 SCB-Schnittstellen-Module eingebaut werden. Über diese Schnittstellen können Geräte angesteuert werden, die über eine RS 232 Schnittstelle verfügen und von KARL STORZ in das SCB Konzept integriert sind (z. B. Videogeräte, OP-Leuchten usw.).

Requirement: The ACC control® must be connected to the units that are to be actuated. In addition, it must be connected to the SCB control computer via an SCB cable. The peripheral devices connected to the ACC control®, such as telephone, accessories, audio and video switching, can be operated via the ACC control® R-UI user interface (see instruction manual for KARL STORZ SCB system). As an option, up to 5 SCB interface modules can be installed in the ACC control®. Units which have an RS 232 interface and have been integrated into the SCB concept by KARL STORZ can be controlled via these interfaces (e.g. video devices, OR lights etc.).

Hinweis: Diese optionalen Geräte können über die R-UI Bedienoberfläche unter dem eigenen Gerätenamen bedient werden und sind unabhängig von der ACC control® R-UI zu betrachten. Wird das ACC control ® ausgeschaltet sind diese Geräte in der R-UI Bedienoberfläche nicht mehr verfügbar.

Note: These optional units can be operated via the R-UI user interface under the unit's own name and must be regarded as independent of the ACC control ® R-UI. If the ACC control ® is switched off, these units are no longer available in the R-UI user interface.

Entnehmen Sie das ACC control® Gerät und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully remove the ACC control® and the accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Extraiga cuidadosamente el ACC control® y sus accesorios de la caja. Revise si el envío está completo y compruebe posibles averías de transporte. Das Gerät ist mit einer Steckvorrichtung  für den Potentialausgleich ausgerüstet. Lassen Sie die Erdung ggf. durch sachkundiges Personal durchführen.

The unit is equipped with a connector  for attaching a ground line. The unit’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

EI equipo está provisto de una conexión equipotencial . Es recomendable que la conexión a tierra sea efectuada por un técnico experto en la materia.

Netzkabel anschließen, Netzstecker bis zum Anschlag in Netzbuchse  einschieben.

Connect power cord: Insert power cord into power cord receptacle  as far as it will go.

ACC control® an SCB-Steuerrechner anschließen Das beiliegende SCB-Kabel an eine der Buchsen  anschließen (die beiden SCB-Buchsen sind gleichwertig). Das andere Ende des SCB-Kabels mit dem KARL STORZ-SCB® Steuerrechner (KARL STORZ Communication Bus) bzw. weiteren SCB-Geräten verbinden (siehe hierzu Gebrauchsanweisung KARL STORZ-SCB® System).

Connecting the ACC control® to the SCB control computer Connect the accompanying SCB cable to one of the sockets  (the two sockets are interchangeable). Connect the other end of the SCB cable to the KARL STORZ-SCB® control computer (KARL STORZ Communication Bus) or other SCB units (see the KARL STORZ-SCB® System instruction manual for this).

Connect the corresponding connecting cables of peripheral unit 1 to the terminals 1A-C of terminal block . A: changeover contact B: normally closed contact C: normally open contact

Analoge Telefonanlage an ACC control® anschließen Das von der Telefonanlage kommende Anschlusskabel in die RJ11-Buchse  einstecken. Hinweis: Ein ,deutsches‘ Telefonanschlusskabel 20 0906 71 befindet sich im Lieferumfang. Die Telefonanschlusskabel sind aber länderspezifisch. Eventuell muss daher ein (im Fachhandel erhältlicher) Adapter verwendet werden.

Connect analog telephone system to ACC control® Insert the connecting cable from the telephone system into the RJ11 socket . Note: A ‘German’ telephone connecting cable 20 0906 71 is supplied, but such cables are country-specific. Therefore, an adaptor (available from specialist retailers) may have to be used.

Conectar la instalación telefónica analógica al ACC control® Inserte el cable de conexión proveniente de la instalación telefónica en el conector RJ11 . Nota: Un cable “alemán” de conexión telefónica 20 0906 71 se incluye en el suministro. Sin embargo, los cables de conexión telefónica son específicos de cada país. Por ello podría ocurrir que necesite utilizar un adaptador (obtenible en el comercio especializado).

Die Audio–Telefon Line out Buchse  mittels des beiliegenden Cinch-Kabels 546 K mit einem Lautsprechersystem verbinden.

Connect the Audio Telephone Line out socket  to a loudspeaker system using the enclosed cinch cable 546 K.

Connect optional video crossbar W20014 to ACC control® Insert the RS 232 connecting cable of the video crossbar into the RS 232 socket  on the ACC control®.

Option: Integrierte SCB-Schnittstelle/n zur Ansteuerung von weiteren Geräten (z. B. Videogeräten) Hinweis: In das ACC control ® können bis zu 5 SCB-Schnittstellen-Module integriert sein. Über diese Schnittstellen-Module können Geräte angesteuert werden, die über eine RS 232 Schnittstelle verfügen und von KARL STORZ in das SCB-Konzept integriert sind. Die Bestückung des ACC control® mit Schnittstellen-Modulen ist optional. Die RS 232 Anschlüsse  …  (D-Sub) sind immer vorhanden, eine Funktionalität besteht aber nur entsprechend der Gerätekonfiguration. Bestückte Schnittstellen-Module und das zugehörige Gerät sind an den Beschriftungsstreifen  erkennbar. RS 232 Verbindungskabel an RS 232 Anschluss * anschließen. Das andere Ende des Verbindungskabels an das zugehörige externe Gerät anschließen. * RS 232 Anschluss  = erstes Schnittstellenmodul, = zweites Schnittstellenmodul usw. Vorsicht: Immer die Gebrauchsanweisung des jeweiligen Gerätes beachten.

Optional: Integrated SCB interface/s for controlling other units (e.g. video devices) Note: Up to 5 SCB interface modules can be integrated into the ACC control ®. Units which have an RS 232 interface and have been integrated into the SCB concept by KARL STORZ can be controlled via these interface modules. Equipping the ACC control® with interface modules is optional. The RS 232 connectors …  (D-Sub) are always present, but their functionality depends on the unit configuration. Interface modules which have been fitted, and the accompanying unit, can be recognized from the label strips . Connect the RS 232 connecting cable to the RS 232 connector *. Connect the other end of the connecting cable to the appropriate external unit. * RS 232 connector  = first interface module, = second interface module etc.

Opción: Interfaz/ces integrada(s) SCB para control de otros aparatos (p. ej., aparatos de vídeo) Nota: En el ACC control ® pueden estar integrados hasta 5 módulos de interfaz SCB. Puesta en marcha

Gerät nur in dem auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannungsbereich betreiben. Netzschalter  einschalten (Anzeigenfelder leuchten kurz auf). Die Betriebsbereitschaft wird durch 6 kurz aufeinanderfolgende akustische Signale angezeigt.

Only operate the unit at the voltage stated on the rating plate. Switch on the unit at its main power switch . The digital displays will illuminate briefly. Six short audible beep tones will sound to indicate that the unit is ready for use.

¡Conecte a la red sólo con la tensión indicada en la placa de especificaciones! Conecte el interruptor principal  (los campos indicadores se encienden brevemente). El estado dispuesto para el servicio es indicado mediante 6 señales acústicas breves sucesivas.

Die Steuerung der an ACC control® angeschlossenen Geräte erfolgt über die R-UI Bedienoberfläche (siehe Gebrauchsanweisung KARL STORZ-SCB® System).

The units connected to ACC control® are controlled via the R-UI user interface (see KARL STORZ-SCB® System instruction manual).

El control de los aparatos conectados al ACC control® se realiza a través de la superficie de mando R-UI (véase el Manual de instrucciones KARL STORZ-SCB® System).

Hinweis: Der Schaltzustand der Relaisausgänge zur Ansteuerung der angeschlossenen Peripheriegeräte ist zusätzlich an den Indikatoren  an der Gerätefront des ACC control ® angezeigt.

Wartungsdienste können bei Ihrer zuständigen Gebietsvertretung oder beim Hersteller erfragt werden. Unabhängig von den in den verschiedenen Ländern vorgeschriebenen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften oder Prüfungsintervallen für Medizingeräte empfehlen wir eine Funktionsoder Sicherheitsüberprüfung des Gerätes mindestens einmal im Jahr. Detaillierte Hinweise entnehmen Sie bitte der jeweils gültigen Version des Service Manuals, Bestellnummer SV 3455 (englische Version).

Preventive maintenance is not essential. Regular maintenance can, however, contribute to identifying potential problems before they become serious, thus enhancing the instrument’s reliability and extending its useful operating life. Maintenance services can be obtained from your local representative or from the manufacturer. Regardless of the accident prevention regulations or testing intervals for medical instruments prescribed in different countries, we recommend a functional or safety test of the unit at least once a year. For detailed instructions please refer to the version of the Service Manual currently valid, catalog number SV 3455 (English version).
