Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich die Originalverpackung für spätere Verwendung aufheben; diese kann benutzt werden, wenn das Gerät transportiert werden muss.

Applikationsinstrument gemäß Gebrauchsan­ weisung vorbereiten. Hinweis: Bitte die dem Applikationsinstrument beiliegende Gebrauchsanweisung beachten! Das vom Applikationsinstrument (EC-Mikromotor bzw. Shaverhandstück) kommende Anschlusskabel* an Motorausgang M1  und/ oder M2  anschließen.

Prepare the application instrument according to the instruction manual. Note: Please follow the instruction manual enclosed with the respective application instrument! The connecting cable* coming from the application instrument (EC micromotor or shaver handpiece) must be connected to motor output M1  and/or M2 .

The connection will be made properly when the red dot on the connecting cable is aligned with that on the socket. Note: If no 'motor' is connected upon switching the device on, the message 'E12: NO MOTOR' flashes in the status line of the display (see arrow). *Note: To unplug the connecting cable, pull out the plug – do not pull directly on the cable!

Coolant and irrigation pump

The UNIDRIVE® S III NEURO SCB control device is equipped with an integrated roller irrigation pump which takes on the function of a coolant pump as well. Note: Use physiological saline solution as a coolant and irrigation fluid. The pump function is available for the following application instruments: Shaver, DRILLCUT-X® II, drill, SINUS BURR, intranasal and saws.

Schlauchset für Einmalgebrauch (MTP Schlauchset 031131-10) Schlauch in die Schlauchhalterung einlegen. Die entsprechenden Schlauchenden mit dem Spülflüssigkeitsbeutel (Einstichdorn) verbinden bzw. auf den Spülanschluss der DRILLCUT-X® Shaver-Handstücke, des Bohrhandstücks bzw. der Mikro-Säge aufstecken. Hinweis: Bei Verwendung einer Spülflasche die Belüftungskappe am Einstichdorn öffnen um die Spülflasche zu belüften.

Disposable irrigation tubing set (MTP tubing set 031131-10) Insert the tubing into the holder. Connect the relevant tubing ends with the irrigation bag (puncture needle) or attach to the irrigation connector of the DRILLCUT-X® shaver handpieces, drill handpiece or the micro saw. Note: If an irrigation bottle is used, open the ventilation cap at the puncture needle in order to ventilate the bottle.

Spülflussmenge einstellen – Touch Screen Über die „+/– Tasten“ in der Bedienebene „Pumpe“ des Touch Screens kann die vorgegebene Spülflussmenge der Pumpe im jeweiligen Betriebsmodus in 9 Pumpenstufen eingestellt werden.. Die aktuell eingestellte Pumpenstufe wird entsprechend angezeigt. Hinweis: Wenn die Pumpenstufe auf „0“ steht, läuft die Pumpe nicht an.

Setting the flowrate – Touch screen The '+/– buttons' in the touch screen's 'Pump' screen can be used to set the specified irrigation flow rate for the pump in the respective operating mode in 9 pump levels. The currently selected pump level is displayed accordingly. Note: If the pump level is set to '0', the pump does not start.

Ajustar cantidad de solución de irrigación – Pantalla táctil La cantidad de solución de irrigación predefinida en el modo de servicio respectivo puede ajustarse en 9 niveles de bombeo utilizando las teclas “+/-” en el campo de mando “Bomba” de la pantalla táctil. Zum Ändern des Betriebsmodus (Auswahl des Applikationshandstücks), die Taste des angezeigten Ansatzes rechts im Bild drücken. Die Applikation Perforator wird bei jedem Neustart sowie neuem Verbinden des High-Speed Mikro-Motors mit dem Unidrive® SIII NEURO SCB als Anfangsapplikation (Default) gestartet. Das Umschalten zwischen den Applikationen des High-Speed Mikro-Motors ist optional durch kurzes Drücken auch über die Taste 14 am Fußschalter möglich. Sehen Sie dazu auch Seite 39 „Fußschalter Funktionen“. Applikation „Perforator“ auswählen.

To change the operating mode (selection of application handpiece), press the button of the displayed attachment on the right of the screen. The perforator application is started with each restart and reconnection of the High-Speed micromotor to the Unidrive® SIII NEURO SCB as the default application. It is also possible to switch between the applications of the High-Speed micromotor by briefly pressing button 14 on the footswitch. Also see 'Footswitch functions' on page 39.

Para modificar el modo de servicio (selección de la pieza manual de aplicación), pulse la tecla del inserto indicado en la sección derecha de la imagen. La aplicación Perforadora se inicia por defecto al reiniciar o reconectar el micromotor High-Speed con el Unidrive® SIII NEURO SCB. Opcionalmente, también es posible conmutar entre las aplicaciones del micromotor High-Speed pulsando brevemente la tecla 14 en el interruptor de pedal. Observe al respecto “Funciones del interruptor de pedal” en la página 39.
