Place the UNIDRIVE® S III on a level surface. The UNIDRIVE® S III is equipped with a connector for attaching a ground wire w. The unit’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Before connecting the UNIDRIVE® S III to the electrical supply line, verify that the line voltage stated on the unit’s identification plate is the same as that of the electrical supply line to be used. Note: At the factory, 2 A fuses suitable for operation at a 230/240 V supply are inserted in the unit. If you are operating the device with a 100...120 V power supply, the 2 A fuses inserted in the factory must be exchanged for 4 A fuses (T4AH or T4AL) (see Section ‘Fuse replacement’, p. 25). Connect the power, insert the power cord end into the receptacle e of the unit.

Motorsteuereinheit UNIDRIVE® S III und angeschlossenem Zubehör ist die jeweilige Gebrauchsanleitung des Kombinationsgerätes genauestens zu lesen und beachten. Hinweis: Das Kombinationsgerät ENDOMAT® LC darf ausschließlich als Absaugpumpe mit dem Absaugschlauch-Set 20330343 verwendet werden.

Den ENDOMAT® LC mit dem FußschalterSteuerkabel 20701070 an das Kombinationsgerät anschließen. Hierfür das Fußschalter-Steuerkabel in die Buchse Pumpenanschluss I an der Rückseite des UNIDRIVE® S III stecken. Das andere Ende des Steuerkabels an der Geräterückseite in die Buchse Fußschaltereingang (siehe Abbildung) des ENDOMAT® LC stecken. Den roten Punkt am Anschlusskabel auf den roten Punkt auf der Fußschalterbuchse ausrichten und bis zum Anschlag einschieben. Der ENDOMAT® LC darf ausschließlich über das Fußschaltersteuerkabel und den am UNIDRIVE S III angeschlossesen Fußschalter betrieben werden.

Combined operation with ENDOMAT® LC extremely carefully prior to the use and connection of the combi unit on the motor control unit UNIDRIVE® S III and connected accessories. Note: The combi unit ENDOMAT® LC must only be used as a suction pump with the suction tube set 20330343.

Connect the ENDOMAT® LC to the combi unit using the footswitch control cord 20701070. To do so, insert the footswitch control cord into the pump connector I socket on the rear of the UNIDRIVE® S III. Insert the other end of the control cord on the back of the unit into the footswitch input socket (see figure) of the ENDOMAT® LC. Align the red dot on the connecting cord with the red dot on the footswitch socket and push in as far as it will go. The ENDOMAT® LC must only be operated via the footswitch control cord and the footswitch connected to the UNIDRIVE S III.

Pumpenschlauch beidseitig bis zum Anschlag auf die Konnektoren aufstecken/aufschieben. Zulaufschlauch vom DrillCut X II kommend auf den schmalen Pumpenschlauchkonnektor aufstecken/aufschieben. Ablaufschlauch auf den breiten Pumpenschlauch­­konnektor aufstecken/aufschieben. HINWEIS: Findet ein Auffangbehälter ohne KARL STORZ Anschlüsse oder ein Gewebeauffangsieb Anwendung, muss der Konnektore T entfernt werden. HINWEIS: »Dichtigkeitsprüfung« auf Seite 37 der GA ENDOMAT® LC beachten.

Connect both ends of the pump tube to the connectors until they click into place. Connect the inflow tube coming from the DrillCut X II to the narrow pump tube connector. Attach outflow tubing to the wide pump tubing connector.

Enchufe/conecte el tubo flexible de la bomba por ambos lados hasta el tope en los conectores. Enchufe/ conecte el tubo flexible de entrada proveniente del DrillCUT-X II en el conector estrecho del tubo flexible de la bomba. Wipe-clean the exterior surfaces of the unit with a disposable cloth moistened with disinfectant. For wipe-down disinfection, we recommend using only surface disinfectants (no solutions predominantly containing alcohol such as rapid-action disinfectants) and ‘disposable disinfectant methods’ based on ammonium chloride.
