Warning: Make certain before every application that the instruments are in perfect condition. If there is any sign of damage, the instrument must not be reused.

Warning: This instruments described in this manual are delivered unsterilized and must therefore be cleaned, disinfected and/or sterilized before the initial application as well as before any further use.

Warning: During the application, the tip of the instrument must remain in the viewing field of the user.

Warning: The listed cleaning, disinfection and sterilization methods alone do not guarantee successful sterilization. This can only be achieved if the staff follows recognized and validated preparation methods.

Warning: For all cleaning of contaminated endoscopes and instruments, liquid-proof protective gloves must be worn. When using a compressed air gun, safety goggles are necessary. Aerosols should be removed using a suction device.

Warnung: Die in dieser Anleitung aufgeführten Instrumente werden nicht steril ausgeliefert und müssen somit vor der ersten Anwendung sowie vor jeder weiteren Nutzung gereinigt, desinfiziert bzw. sterilisiert werden. Warnung: Während der Applikation muss sich die Instrumentenspitze im Sichtfeld des Anwenders befinden. Warnung: Die genannten Reinigungs-, Desinfektions- und Sterilisationsverfahren garantieren alleine noch keine erfolgreiche Sterilisierung. Diese lässt sich nur erzielen, wenn vom Personal nach anerkannten und validierten Aufbereitungsverfahren vorgegangen wird. Warnung: Bei allen Reinigungsarbeiten an kontaminierten Endoskopen und Instrumenten sind flüssigkeitsdichte Schutzhandschuhe zu tragen. Bei der Verwendung einer Druckluftpistole ist ein Augenschutz notwendig. Aerosole sollten durch eine Absaugvorrichtung entfernt werden. Warnung: Beachten Sie, dass eine Sterilisation nur dann erfolgreich durchführbar ist, wenn • die Instrumente von allen organischen Materialien und Chemikalienrückständen befreit sind. Eine Sterilisation erfolgt nur an sauberen, desinfizierten Oberflächen! • nach anerkannten und validierten Verfahren gearbeitet wird. • die empfohlenen Sterilisationsparameter eingehalten werden. Diese sind nur bei vorgeschriebener Wartung und Kalibrierung des Sterilisationsgerätes gültig.

Das Äußere der Zangen mit einem Schwamm, die Maulteile mit einer Bürste säubern. Optik-Kanal durchbürsten. Anschließend im Ultraschallbad reinigen. Mit Wasser durchspülen und mit medizinisch reiner Druckluft trocken blasen.

Clean the forceps exterior with a sponge and the jaws with a brush. Brush through the telescope channel. Then clean in an ultrasonic bath. Flush through with water and dry with sterilecompressed air.

Limpiar el exterior de las pinzas con una esponja y las piezas de la quijada con un cepillo. Cepillar el canal óptico. A continuación limpiar con ultrasonido. Enjuagar con agua y secar con aire comprimido filtrado para usos medicinales hasta secarlos.

Oil the joint parts of the forceps jaws. When so doing, hold the instrument so that the oil can flow from the distal end into the joint, thereby also wetting the wire pull.

Die blanken, distalen Teile der Elektroden dürfen nicht gebogen oder deformiert werden. Die richtige Konfiguration des freien Elektrodenendes ist für die korrekte Funktion und die Sicherheit in Bezug auf die für das System definierte Spannungsfestigkeit unerläßlich.

The bare, distal electrode parts must not be bent or deformed. The correct configuration of the free electrode ends is essential for correct functioning and safety in regard to the electric strength defined for the system.

Las piezas distales desnudas del electrodo no han de ser curvadas o deformadas. La configuración correcta del extremo libre del electrodo es indispensable para el funcionamiento correcto y la seguridad en relación con la resistencia a tensiones eléctricas que se ha definido para el sistema.

Damaged electrodes or ones which have become thin because they have burned down must be replaced.

Rohrstück der Elektrodenstabilisierung über das Rohr des Arbeitselementes schieben. Kontaktende der Elektroden bis zum Einrasten in die vorgesehene Öffnung des Arbeitselementes einschieben.

Slide the electrode stabilizer tube over the tube of the working element. Push the contact end of the electrode into the opening provided on the working element until it clicks into place.

Deslizar la pieza de tubo de la estabilización del electrodo sobre el tubo del elemento de trabajo. Introducir el extremo de contacto del electrodo en el orificio previsto al efecto del elemento de trabajo, hasta que encastre.

Hinweis: Farbmarkierungen an Elektroden und Schäften erleichtern die Zuordnung. Nur Elektroden und Schäfte mit gleicher Farbmarkierung verwenden. Teile, die zweifarbig codiert sind, sind zu beiden Farben kompatibel.

Note: Color markings on electrodes and sheaths make identification easier. Only use electrodes and sheaths with the same color marking. Parts coded with two colors are compatible with both.

Montage Die Laufflächen am Hahnreiber dünn einfetten (Spezialfett für Hähne; Art.-Nr. 27657).

Assembly Lightly grease the contact surfaces on the cock plug (special grease for stopcocks; Art. no. 27657).

Montaje Engrasar ligeramente la superficie de deslizamiento de la llave (grasa especial para llaves; art. no. 27657).

Hinweis: Diese dünne Fettschicht dient nicht nur der Schmierung der aufeinander laufenden Metall-Metall-Oberflächen, sondern auch der Dichtigkeit der Hähne. Öl ist als Dichtmittel nicht geeignet.

Note: This thin layer of grease not only serves to lubricate the metal-to-metal surfaces in contact with one another, but also prevents the stopcocks from leaking. Oil is not suitable as a sealant.

Nota: Esta delgada capa de grasa sirve no solamente para la lubricación de las superficies metálicas que rozan entre sí, sino también para la hermeticidad de la llave. El aceite no es adecuado como agente hermetizante.

Hahnreiber einsetzen und mit Federkappe fixieren. Leicht anziehen. Funktion des Hahnreibers prüfen. Hahnreiber zur Sterilisation wieder zerlegen.

Insert the cock plug and fix in place with the thumbscrew. Tighten slightly. Test the cock plug for proper operation. Take apart the cock plug again for sterilization.

Colocar el macho de la llave y fijarlo con el tornillo moleteado. Ajustar ligeramente. Comprobar el funcionamiento del macho de la llave. Desmonte de nuevo el macho de la Ilave para la esterilización.

Vorsicht: Schäfte mit Keramik-Spitzen sind sorgfältig zu handhaben. Die Schäfte müssen vor jeder Verwendung auf Risse und sonstige Beschädigungen überprüft werden. Beschädigte Schäfte (Abplatzungen oder Risse) dürfen keinesfalls verwendet werden, da Funktionsfehler auftreten könnten und dies zu Patientenverletzungen führen könnte. Nur die speziell für Schäfte mit Keramikspitzen ausgewiesenen Obturatoren verwenden. Ungeeignete Obturatoren können zur Beschädigung der Keramikspitze führen.

Caution: Sheaths with ceramic tips must be handled carefully. The sheaths must be checked for cracks or other damage before all use. Damaged sheaths (chips or cracks) must never be used, since malfunctions could occur which could lead to patient injury. Only use obturators specially designated for sheaths with ceramic tips. Unsuitable obturators may cause damage to the ceramic tip.

Advertencia: Maneje con mucho cuidado las vainas con punta de cerámica. Las vainas deben comprobarse en cuanto a fisuras y otros deterioros. Las vainas deterioradas (dobleces o fisuras) en ningún caso deben ser utilizadas, dado que pueden aparecer fallos de funcionamiento y provocar lesiones en el paciente. Utilice únicamente los obturadores especiales para vainas con punta de cerámica. Los obturadores inadecuados pueden deteriorar la punta de cerámica.

Clean the sheath lumen with a flexible brush.

Check the seal and, if necessary, fit a new one.

Zentralhahn einsetzen und mit Federkappe fixieren. Leicht anziehen. Funktion des Zentralhahns prüfen. Zentralhahn zur Sterilisation wieder zerlegen.

Insert the central valve and fix in place with the thumbscrew. Tighten slightly. Test the central valve for proper operation. Take apart the central valve again for sterilization.

Colocar el macho de la llave central y fijarlo con el tornillo moleteado. Ajustar ligeramente. Comprobar el funcionamiento del macho de la llave central. Desmonte de nuevo el macho de la llave central para la esterilización.

Das ablenkbare distale Gelenk des Obturators ist ebenfalls zu ölen. Den Obturator dabei schräg halten, damit das einfließende Öl auch den Zugdraht im Inneren benetzen kann.

The deflectable distal joint of the obturator must also be oiled. While so doing, hold the obturator at an angle so that the oil can also reach the wire pull in the interior.

Asimismo, también habrá que aceitar la articulación distal deflectable del obturador. Para ello, sostener el obturador oblicuamente, a fin de que el aceite afluyente pueda también humedecer el alambre de tracción en su interior.

Anschließend den Innenschaft vorsichtig nach proximal ziehen, bis das vordere Maulteil im hinteren Maulteil liegt. Die Kerben von Außenund Innenschaft müssen jetzt genau übereinander liegen. Um die korrekte Lage der Maulteile zu überprüfen und sicherzustellen, daß kein Gewebe zwischen den Maulteilen eingeklemmt wurde, wird die Optik vorsichtig in den Schaft eingeführt und das distale Ende inspiziert. Anschließend Optik wieder entfernen und beide Schaftteile vorsichtig herausziehen.

Then carefully pull the inner sheath in the proximal direction until the front jaw is lying in the rear jaw . The notches of the outer and inner sheaths must now be positioned precisely above each other. To check that the jaws are in the correct position and to ensure that no tissue is trapped between the jaws, carefully insert the telescope into the sheath and inspect the distal end. Then remove the telescope again and carefully pull out both parts of the sheath.

Finalmente, tirar cuidadosamente de la vaina interior hacia el extremo proximal, hasta que la pieza anterior de la mordaza descanse sobre la pieza posterior de la mordaza . Las entalladuras de las vainas exterior e interior deben hallarse ahora exactamente una sobre la otra. Para comprobar la posición correcta de las piezas de la mordaza y asegurarse de que ningún trozo de tejido se encuentra atrapado entre las mismas, se insertará cuidadosamente el telescopio en la vaina y se inspeccionará el extremo distal. Finalmente retirar nuevamente el telescopio y extraer cuidadosamente ambas piezas de la vaina.

Hinweis: Um dieses Vorgehen im Bedarfsfall korrekt durchführen zu können, sollte sich der Anwender frühzeitig mit dem Zerlegen des Lithotriptors vertraut machen.

Note: To be able to carry out this procedure correctly when the need arises, the user should familiarize himself with the method of disassembling the lithotriptor as soon as possible.

Zur Reinigung ist der Lithotriptor vollständig zu zerlegen. Dazu nach Entfernen der Optik zuerst die hintere Befestigungsschraube für den Innenschaft lösen.

The lithotriptor must be completely disassembled for cleaning. After removing the telescope, first undo the rear securing screw for the inner sheath.

El litotritor debe desmontarse totalmente para llevar a cabo su limpieza. A este fin, aflojar los tornillos de sujeción posteriores para la vaina interior , después de retirar el telescopio.

Vorderes Maulteil mit Innenschaft nach vorne herausziehen.

Pull out the front jaw together with the inner sheath towards the front.

Extraer hacia adelante la extremo proximal de la mordaza con la vaina interior.

Vordere Befestigungsschraube lösen, anschließend Außenschaft nach vorne herausziehen. Schaftlumen und Maulteile mit einer Bürste reinigen. Außenteile des Lithotriptors mit Schwamm oder Bürste säubern. Zu- und Ablaufhähne zerlegen, durchbürsten. Anschließend im Ultraschallbad reinigen. Mit Wasser durchspülen und mit medizinisch reiner Druckluft trocken blasen. Bewegliche Teile ölen, anschließend Zusammenbau in umgekehrter Reihenfolge. Funktion des Lithotriptors prüfen.

Undo the front securing screw and then pull out the outer sheath towards the front. Clean the shaft lumen and jaws with a brush. Clean the outer parts of the lithotriptor with a sponge or brush. Disassemble inlet and outlet stopcocks and brush through. Then clean in an ultrasonic bath. Flush through with water and dry with sterile compressed air. Oil moving parts and reassemble in reverse sequence. Test the lithotritors for proper operation.

Aflojar el tornillo de sujeción anterior , finalmente extraer hacia adelante la vaina exterior . Limpiar con un cepillo el interior de la vaina y las mordazas. Limpiar con una esponja o cepillo las piezas exteriores del litotritor. Desmontar las llaves de admisión y salida, y cepillarlas. A continuación limpiar con ultrasonido. Enjuagar con agua y secar con aire comprimido filtrado para usos medicinales hasta secarlos. Aceitar las piezas móviles, finalmente efectuar el montaje en el orden inverso. Comprobar el funcionamiento de los litotritores.

Vorsicht: Vor der Anwendung des Lithotriptors ist sicherzustellen, daß die Schrauben fest angezogen sind. Die Maulteile dürfen sich auch unter Druck nicht bewegen oder drehen lassen.

Caution: Before using the lithotriptor ensure that the screws are firmly tightened. The jaws must not move or turn even under pressure.

Advertencia: Antes de la aplicación del litotritor debe asegurarse que los tornillos se hallan bien apretados. Las mordazas no deben poder moverse o girarse, ni aún cuando se encuentren bajo presión.

Hinweis: Die korrekte Zusammensetzung des Lithotriptors kann mit einem speziellen Testblock (Best.-Nr. 27076 T) überprüft werden.

Note: Correct assembly of the lithotriptor can be checked using a special test block (Cat. no. 27076 T).

Note: This thin layer of grease not only serves to lubricate the metal-to-metal surfaces in contact with one another, but also prevents the stopcocks from leaking. Oil is not suitable as a sealant.

Hahnreiber einsetzen und mit Rändelschraube fixieren. Leicht anziehen. Funktion des Hahnreibers prüfen. Hahnreiber zur Sterilisation wieder zerlegen.

Insert the cock plug and fix in place with the thumbscrew. Tighten slightly. Test the cock plug for proper operation. Take apart the cock plug again for sterilization.
