Zweckbestimmung
Rohrschaftinstrumente werden zum Fassen/Abtrennen/ Schneiden/Entfernen von Gewebe oder Knorpel oder Knochen bei diagnostischen Maßnahmen und chirurgischen Eingriffen eingesetzt. Es wird empfohlen, vor der Verwendung die Eignung der Produkte für den geplanten Eingriff zu überprüfen. Kontraindikationen, die sich direkt auf das Produkt beziehen, sind derzeit nicht bekannt. Die Verwendung des Instrumentes gilt als kontraindiziert, wenn nach Meinung des verantwortlichen Arztes eine solche Anwendung eine Gefährdung des Patienten hervorrufen würde, z. B. aufgrund des Allgemeinzustandes des Patienten oder die Methode als solche kontraindiziert ist. Eigenmächtige Umbauten oder Veränderungen des Instrumentes sind aus Sicherheitsgründen untersagt.

Tube shaft instruments are used to grasp, separate, cut, and remove tissue or cartilage or bone in diagnostic measures and surgical interventions.

No contraindications directly related to the product are currently known. Montage, Prüfung und Pflege
Das gereinigte und desinfizierte Medizinprodukt muss auf Reinheit, Vollständigkeit, Schäden und Trockenheit visuell geprüft werden: • Sind noch Verschmutzungen oder Rückstände vorhanden, muss das Medizinprodukt manuell nachge reinigt und erneut einem vollständigen Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsprozess unterzogen werden. • Beschädigte oder korrodierte Medizinprodukte müssen ausgesondert werden. • Gelenke, Gewinde und Gleitflächen sind mit Instrumentenöl gezielt zu pflegen. • Anschließend muss eine Funktionskontrolle durchgeführt werden. HINWEIS: Das hierfür verwendete Öl muss für das nachfolgende Sterilisationsverfahren geeignet sein (silikonfrei auf Paraffin- oder Weißölbasis). HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie zur Pflege die Artikel aus dem Katalog „Pflege, Sterilisation und Lagerungstechnik“ (Art.-Nr. 96211004).
Assembly, inspection and care
The cleaned and disinfected medical device must be visually inspected for cleanliness, completeness, damage and dryness: • If residues or contamination are still present, the medical device must be manually cleaned and subjected to a full cleaning and disinfection procedure once more. • Damaged or corroded medical devices must be withdrawn from use. • Joints, threads and glide surfaces must be lubricated locally with instrument oil. • Afterwards, a functional check must be carried out.

Efectúe un control visual del producto médico limpio y desinfectado, comprobando la limpieza, integridad, ausencia de deterioros y secado del mismo: • En caso de que todavía quedaran suciedad o residuos, someta el producto médico a una limpieza posterior manual y vuelva a llevar a cabo un proceso completo de limpieza y desinfección. • Es imprescindible retirar del servicio los productos médicos deteriorados o corroídos. • Lubrique específicamente las articulaciones, roscas y superficies deslizantes con aceite para instrumentos. • A continuación, efectúe un control de funcionamiento.

Es dürfen nur genormte und zugelassene Verpackungs materialien und -systeme eingesetzt werden (EN 868 Teil 2-10, EN ISO 11607 Teil 1 + 2, DIN 58953). Die Abläufe sowie die prozessrelevanten Parameter der einzelnen validierten Verfahren sind in der Anleitung „Reinigung, Desinfektion, Pflege und Sterilisation von KARL STORZ Instrumenten“ (Art.-Nr. 96216003) detailliert beschrieben. Die Wahl des Verfahrens muss unter Berücksichtigung der jeweiligen länderspezifischen Regularien und in Absprache mit den Geräte- und Produktherstellern erfolgen. Folgende Verfahren zur Sterilisation wurden von KARL STORZ für dieses Medizinprodukt validiert und freigegeben: Dampfsterilisation im fraktionierten Vorvakuumverfahren Für eine Sterilisation in zusammengesetztem Zustand des Medizinprodukts ist ein fraktioniertes Vorvakuum verfahren (DIN EN ISO 17665-1) bei 132 °C – 137 °C mit einer Mindesteinwirkzeit von 3 bis maximal 18 Minuten anzuwenden. Dieses Verfahren ist nur für thermostabile Instrumente geeignet.
HINWEIS: Gefettete Komponenten sind 11 zerlegt der Sterilisation zuzuführen, damit die Dampfdurchdringung sichergestellt ist.

Only standardized and approved packaging materials or systems may be used (EN 868 Parts 2-10, EN ISO 11607 Parts 1 + 2, DIN 58953). The procedures as well as the process-relevant parameters for the individually validated methods are described in detail in the manual ‘Cleaning, Disinfection, Care and Sterilization of KARL STORZ Instruments’ (Art. no. 96216003). The method must be selected taking into account the respective applicable national requirements and in consultation with the device and product manufacturers. The following sterilization methods have been validated and approved by KARL STORZ for this medical device: Steam sterilization using the fractionated prevacuum procedure The medical device must be sterilized in its fully assembled state using the fractionated prevacuum procedure (DIN EN ISO 17665-1) at 132 °C – 137 °C with a minimum exposure time of 3 minutes and a maximum of 18 minutes. This procedure is only suitable for thermostable instruments.
NOTE: Greased components must be 11 disassembled for sterilization, so that steam penetration is ensured.
Solamente deben utilizarse materiales y sistemas de embalaje normalizados y homologados (EN 868 partes 2-10, EN ISO 11607 partes 1 + 2, DIN 58953). Los procesos, así como los parámetros relevantes de los mismos, de cada uno de los procedimientos validados, se describen detalladamente en la instrucción "Limpieza, desinfección, conservación y esterilización de los instrumentos de KARL STORZ" (n.º de art. 96216003). La elección del procedimiento deberá realizarse de acuerdo con las reglamentaciones específicas de cada país y coordinarse con los fabricantes del aparato y del producto. Los siguientes procedimientos de esterilización para este producto médico han sido validados y autorizados por KARL STORZ: Esterilización por vapor por el procedimiento de prevacío fraccionado Para una esterilización del producto médico estando este montado, se recomienda utilizar un procedimiento de prevacío fraccionado (DIN EN ISO 17665-1) a 132 °C – 137 °C durante un tiempo mínimo de aplicación de 3 hasta un máximo de 18 minutos. Este procedimiento solo es adecuado para instrumentos termoestables. NOTA: Los componentes engrasados deben esterilizarse desmontados para asegurar la penetración del vapor.
