Approved chemicals for the reprocessing of rigid telescopes, flexible endoscopes / videoscopes (fiberscopes) and instruments The material compatibility of the following chemicals has been approved for use on rigid endoscopes, flexible endoscopes (fiberscopes) and instruments.

 NOTE!

The material compatibility with RICHARD WOLF products only relates to the use of the reprocessing chemicals listed below. Due to the large number of chemicals on the market, possible interaction with other products cannot be taken into account. The manufacturer's instructions on exposure time, concentration and use must be followed. Also make sure that no residues remain on the instruments.

 NOTE!

The products marked x) contain aldehydic substances. These are no longer allowed in various countries such as France.

The assessment of the products listed is based on the low traces of wear observed when using products containing glutaraldehyde. Since due to changed requirements new products with other active components are available, it is necessary to assess the degree of wear caused by these products separately. We therefore decided to introduce a second category containing such products (table below). The products listed here cause a higher degree of wear on the materials we use than the products mentioned first. These “cosmetic” shortcomings are still in a tolerable range but a higher repair incidence cannot be excluded.
